A travel Hyperloop transport system is evolving. Travelling between 700mph-760mph, one Hyperloop company has decided to build a passenger pod first, to test whether or not it works inside the Hyperloop. They are turning their thoughts into ideas where their imagination is being transformed into a reality.
The Hyperloop is an exciting innovative invention, especially for travellers and property investors, who like to bounce between places quickly and conveniently.
This near-supersonic speed initiative will mean that people will sit in a vacuum-sealed pod while being transported to other cities (of their choice). The entire process is still being made in motion at the moment, with rival companies competing at the forefront: Hyperloop One and Hyperloop Transportation Technologies (HTT).
They are developing their ideas, however, Hyperloop One has already constructed an impressive test track built in the middle of the Nevada desert. (See photo in the article) Meanwhile, HTT is focusing on constructing the pods, so the two companies have a specific focus.
The CEO of HTT, Dirk Ahlborn, said: “We are building the world’s first full-scale passenger Hyperloop capsule.
“We are taking a passenger first approach to guarantee that safety is always our number one concern. It has been crucial in our development to go past the simple requirements of freight in order to build a better and safer system for everyone.”
The first official capsule is set to be unveiled in 2018.
HTT continues to say that it is “the culmination of over three years and thousands of hours of design, research, and analysis.”
The 500-metre long Hyperloop test structure is located almost 30 minutes from Las Vegas. It is 3.3 metres in diameter.
Co-founder of Hyperloop One, Josh Giegel, said: “Our team of more than 150 engineers, technicians and fabricators have been transforming what was, just over five months ago, a barren stretch of desert, into a hive of activity and now home to the world’s first full-scale Hyperloop test site.”
The proposed pod will be able to hold 28-40 passengers, so now it is just a matter of time to see whether or not the Hyperloop will be the latest revelation and technological travel advancement of our time. Hopping on a bus, a coach or on a train to get to another city may be a thing of the past.
